The South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce fosters Hispanic entrepreneurial growth through networking opportunities, such as events and workshops; educational programming, including its Entrepreneurial Empowerment series; consulting on key business areas like finance, marketing and accounting; and advocating and lobbying on behalf of its membersthrough its Government Affairs Office. In conjunction with Community WorksCarolina, the SCHCC’s Axeso program offers microloans to provide simple access to capital for Hispanic-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.
In addition to providing business resources and guidance, SCHCC functions asa bridge between its members and community leaders, different cultures, and residents of South Carolina. Workforce Development is also core to its mission, providing scholarships for exceptional Hispanic students and connecting these students and businesses in need of their skills.
Basic membership is free and open to all Hispanic-owned businesses in the state.
