Charleston County Economic Development connects businesses to resources and opportunities to take them to the next level. The program is designed to provide support to startups and existing businesses in the process of expansion or relocation.
CCED offers assistance with site selection, detailed area maps, financial incentives, grants & loans, workforce development, public infrastructure improvements, supplier sourcing, international trade consulting, research, entrepreneur resource referrals, permit assistance, and much more. Since the department was created, they have announced the creation of more than 39,000 jobs and generated over $6.9 billion in capital investment.
